About Me
Shoba Lawrence is a compassionate counselling psychologist who upholds the values of integrity, fairness, inclusivity, and respect for diversity. She is dedicated to supporting individuals across the lifespan—including adolescents, adults, and older adults—by creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients can express themselves freely.
In her work as a counsellor and psychologist, she supports individuals in navigating emotional and psychological challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem difficulties, addiction-related concerns, women-centric issues, and emotional regulation challenges.
Her goal is to help clients build healthier relationships, gain clarity, reconnect with their inner strengths, and develop practical coping strategies to manage life’s demands effectively. She is deeply committed to fostering resilience, personal growth, and overall well-being.
Shoba is also inspired by Adler’s concept of Gemeinschaftsgefühl, which emphasizes the importance of community, belonging, and social connectedness and believes that every individual has the potential for growth and transformation when supported with empathy, understanding, and the right environment.
